SARA

In 2018 Sara Danius was made to leave her position as leader of the Swedish academy. She did it

in style wearing a tied blouse, a knytblus. Women and men sent Sara support on social media through the hashtag #knytblusförsara

I wanted to honour her work, her brave actions and mark this historic event by designing a series of vases. They are all individuals and wearing a bow of iron oxide. For Sara, a whistleblower who dared to challenge her colleagues at a powerful institution.
